Our Story
In December 1952, Demos Shakarian — a successful California dairyman and devoted Christian — received a God-given vision that would change the world. The following month, he incorporated FGBMFI, beginning with one small chapter of businessmen meeting weekly at Clifton's Cafeteria in Los Angeles.
From that humble beginning, FGBMFI has grown into one of the largest networks of Christian businessmen in the world, operating in over 95 nations with thousands of local chapters. Headquartered in Irvine, California, our movement is built on three essential pillars: Vision, Prayer, and Media.
